Paul
the staff were highly trained and friendly, the breakfast buffet at Pacific was exceptional, and the water sports and ocean activities were world-class. The resort is comparable to international resorts in Thailand, Los Cabos, and the Maldives. The room was always clean and well-equipped.
fine dining options were lacking.

Booked a room with perfect views of the ocean and lagoon. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful. The service was top-notch and the pool was heated. Obviously that free Wi-Fi throughout the property was really handy. Location: the hotel was so close to common areas, the restaurants and food outlets and Coral sea marina.

Gorgeous hotel with incredibly helpful personnel. The view of the ocean is just incredible. Quiet and perfect location in Hayman Island. Close to Brisbane airport, a nearby island with a long sandbar great for snorkeling. They have fantastic restaurants, open times, kids club, and a rec center. The refurbishment of the resort is a nice touch.

Our stay at Intercontinental in Hayman Island was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived on the beautiful boat with champagne and nibbles, we felt pampered and taken care of. The resort and facilities were top-notch, and our pool access suite was everything we could ask for. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness of the resort was impeccable. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and trying out various beach activities like paddle boarding and kayaking. The island itself was stunning, and we had a great time exploring and participating in different activities like hiking and playing sports. It was truly a fantastic four-day holiday and a quick two-hour flight from Sydney.
Nothing to be said 🤷♀️

The location was remote, gorgeous on the ferry to Hayman for 2 hours. The most important was the staff - efficient and outstandingly accommodating people. There was plenty of great meals.

Our stay at Intercontinental Hayman Island Resort was perfect, with beautiful ocean views. The staff was attentive, helpful, and offered friendly service. The room was impressive, gorgeous, and equipped with central heating, a personal safe, and pay television. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. The location was stunning, just a short walk from Whitsunday Lookout.

Breakfast, the location, the pool, the food.
Paying $7 for a bottle of water and $10.95 for a block of Cadbury chocolate.

Totally overpriced and worst service ever in a supposed to be luxury hotel worst service ever as well in the restaurants- we sometimes had to wait 20 minutes to get the menu and finally had to walk up to the bar to place the orders the hotel only has a great beach and view, rooms are old, shabby, pool dirty, menus dirty, poor restaurant choice (when you walk in 15 to 9 and it closes at 9 they basically punish you for coming so late), food bad and pricy, service team are all underpaid young workers with no luxury experience at all, at the beach you cannot swim due to jelly fishes (then when you ask why no one is in the water they tell you that you can swim, but there might be deadly jelly fishes) excursion we booked was awful (we booked outer reef snorkeling trip which was changed witout any notice to a trip around the corner to another island- snorkeling equipment was not working, no one cared, trip lasted only 3 hours instead of 7- full price was charged nevertheless) staff was extremly unfriendly and unhelpful breakfast menu ( you even have to walk to the bar and wait long time to get your coffee, poor breakfast choice) when we arrived we sent a request to book a spa the day after arrival- they made the booking before we arrived and even wanted us to pay though we were not even on the island the day of departure they ring 2 hours before departure at your door to pick up the luggage- it is not even possible to check out when you want...) We really pretty much travelled all over and in Australia for some strange reason Hayman has a good reputation, but there is no reason for that at all- being an international traveller this is the worst value for money experience ever- stay away - this was a terrible expensive experience-

Spent Christmas in a little piece of paradise with amazing food and activities for the whole family. Loved the crystal-clear pools and stunning gardens, plus waking up to gorgeous views of the ocean every day. The hiking around the island was unforgettable, and the free activities offered by the hotel were a great way to explore the area without breaking the bank.
Prices were a bit steep, and some of the staff seemed a bit untrained and unorganized. The transportation could have been cheaper, and we experienced some issues with luggage mix-ups that could have been avoided with better labeling.

Exceptional luxury. Attention to detail and anticipation of guest needs. Lovely but expensive food. Clean pools, plenty of lounge areas, and attentive poolside service. Great options for activities and comfortable rooms. Good wifi connection.
